In a scathing critique of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government’s governance model, Prime Minister Narendra Modi championed the cause of the people of West Bengal during his recent address. Using the poignant slogan of ‘Maa, Maati, Manush’ – symbolizing Mother, Motherland, and People – PM Modi highlighted the betrayal of trust perpetrated by the TMC.
Today, Maa, Maati as well as Maanush, all are displeased by the TMC mode of governance,” declared PM Modi, echoing the sentiments of countless disenfranchised citizens across Bengal. Pointing to the plight of women in Sandeshkhali, who have repeatedly cried out for justice, the Prime Minister emphasized the deafening silence of the government in response to their pleas.
In Bengal, the police do not decide when a criminal must be arrested, it’s the criminal who decides everything for himself,” remarked PM Modi, drawing attention to the alarming state of lawlessness perpetuated under the current administration. By placing power in the hands of criminals and ignoring the cries for justice from its own people, the TMC government has failed in its duty to uphold the rule of law and protect the interests of its citizens.
As West Bengal gears up for the upcoming elections, PM Modi’s impassioned speech serves as a rallying cry for change, promising a brighter future for the people of Bengal under the leadership of those who prioritize accountability, justice, and progress.
