PM Modi to Inaugurate 125 Feet Mahabir Lachit Barphukan Statue in Assam

Additionally, he highlighted the expected surge in international tourist interest in Kaziranga National Park following PM Modi’s visit.

The Assam government has christened the statue “Birattor Stambho,” meaning brave statue, signifying the valor and legacy of Lachit Barphukan. PM Modi is also slated to address a public gathering at the Melengmeteli Playground on March 9th, following the inauguration of the Lachit Barphukan statue.
